Hiroshima / Nagasaki Anniversary

On 6 August 2010, Hiroshima was bombed with the first war-time used nuclear weapon. On 15 August 2010, Nagasaki was hit.
The 65th anniversary went by with very little mention in the world press. It is interesting that it wasn't mentioned more... It is an important date to remember. Just how many people can be killed by one bomb in just ms. But it is even more important to think of the size of the blast compared to what is possible today.
Just to give an idea of the modern day weapons (average 50 Megaton) v. 13 kiloton for Nagasaki. Although both sides state that the warheads are smaller, they were 50 MT for the most of the cold war and could still be that size. The only blast that large was the "Tsar Bomba" which was detonated at 50% yield. It was actually about 57 Megatons of TNT equivalent...
There's a website created by CarlosLabs which can show the areas damaged by different weapons.

Something new to dream about. This is a new supercar. It is from a small manufacturer in England. Why buy a supercar from England, one may ask. Well, because it can BLOW the doors off a Ferrari, Lambo, Aston Martin, Porche, and even gets better acceleration than a Bugatti.
This car will accelerate from 100-130 in 2 seconds. 130-170 in 2 seconds. 40-80 in 2.5 seconds. That is amazing. But doesn't match most other figures. So 0-60? 0-60 in 3.9 seconds! There is actually a switch on the dashboard to convert the engine HP from one level to another. 700+ in the top setting, 450 in the next level, 350 in the third, and 300 in the bottom setting. In case you don't feel like getting a speeding ticket due to a slight twitch in your foot.
So you may ask at this point, where can I get one... www.noblecars.com How much, 250,000 Pounds Sterling! The picture on the main site is a picture of a switch which Nobel "borrowed" from a British joint fighter. It is the same switch the fighter pilot uses to arm the missles. What is it doing in a car? It is the switch to turn off the traction control.

The Oklahoma City bombing should have pointed out issues brewing in our country. Issues that could continue to rise and continue to cause problems in this nation again in the future.
No-one has head-on countered the rhetoric of the people who led mcveigh astray. These same people are still in this nation spewing hatred and anger against everyone.
Problems will continue to brew until we address the underlying lies.

The Army ALWAYS has at least a 2-star general for each flight to repatriate the soldiers.
After the soldiers disembark the plane, they conduct a formal repatriation ceremony, followed by an award ceremony during which any medals are awarded to the soliders.
BG = 1 star general
MG = 2 star general
LTG = 3 star general
GEN = 4 star general
CSM = command sargant major
Side note - I worked with Norton Schwartz when he was operations chief for the Joint command.
