11 Nov 1918 - 90 years ago today! WOW!
The Armistice that ended WWI occured and this day became a day to remember those who served in the war.
Later it was changed in the US to add WWII people and then to add all vets and the name was changed (in the US) to veterins day...
There is but 1 vet from WWI alive today in the USA - He lives in West Virginia. Frank Woodriff Buckles is now 106 years old.
