:( Unemployable Loser is I. :(

Got turned down for yet more jobs again today. Many temporary agencies are not hiring, many government contractors are not hiring - and that probably won't change till after the new President takes office. No-one wants to hire too many people, only to find out the jobs are cut, etc...

Friendship Hospital for Animals turned me down as well today. :( I really enjoyed the time I spent there (about 3 hours last week) observing the patient care, etc... Oh well just another tick mark in companies that don't want me... http://www.friendshiphospital.com/index.html

Hayfield Veternary Clinic didn't want me either - so I spent a few hours driving down, taking a tour, etc. before they figured out that my resume didn't have any experience. Then they started asking questions - idiots. Can't you read BEFORE I come down for the interview...?? http://www.hayfieldanimalhospital.com/

Like I said before, there's always f'n EFI. They're still hiring, I probably cannot do anything useful with my life, so why not go back... Poor Mari is working like 20 jobs and 30 hours a day, 8 days a week to keep my arse looking for jobs...

GREEN PARTY

BTW: Cynthia McKinney is the leader for the Green Party Nomination…
She is (1) a woman, and (2) of African ancestry... Also has many great things going for her. Therefore, she may win the nomination of the Green Party over Nader. But we shall see...
Although not one of my suggestions from before, she does rank pretty high in people who could actually get changes to occur.
She is most notable for introducing Articles of Impeachment (surprise for something OTHER than a BJ in the Oval Office - novel idea!)...
"At the end of the 2006 legislative session, McKinney introduced articles of impeachment against President George W. Bush as (H Res 1106), which makes three charges against Bush: manipulating intelligence and lying to justify the war in Iraq, failing to uphold accountability and violating privacy laws with his domestic spying program.
The second article also makes charges against Vice President Dick Cheney for helping to "fix" the intelligence in order to justify the Iraq War, and against Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for making false statements concerning Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction program."

It's a well known Fact there Normie - DCA

The original address of Washington National Airport was.... (and it's still valid)

1 AVIATION CIR
WASHINGTON DC 20001-6000

Just thought it was interesting.

CN Tower has officially lost its title.

The CN Tower is no longer the world's tallest free-standing structure.... As of September 2007, the Burj Dubai became the tallest...

* There are taller TV broadcasting towers; however, these are all supported by cables and other methods and are not freestanding!

Tallest Structures in the World:
01) Burj Dubai - 2,064 feet (as of 7 April, 2008) - 160 stories now still rising (see #1 below)
02) CN Tower - 1,815 feet (highest observation plat-form at 1,465 feet)
03) Sears Tower Antenna - 1,730 feet (inhabited to 1,451 feet - roof)
**) WTC Antenna - 1,727 feet (inhabited to 1,368 feet - roof)
04) Taipei 100 - 1,671 feet (tallest inhabited building)
05) Shanghai World Financial Center - 1,614 feet
06) Troll-A Platform - 1,549 feet (highest object ever moved to a different location)
07) BREN Tower - 1,516 feet (tower for science research in Nevada)
08) Petronas Towers - 1,482 feet
______________
(#1) - The Burj Dubai is rumored to reach a height of 2,736 feet which would make it precisely the height of the WTC towers put atop each other.

The Green Party can finally win - if they want to!

The green party could actually win this time around.

Nader needs to step down from Presidential candidate to VP and ask Gore to be the Presidential candidate.

The two of them can do alot of good for our country; however, Nader does not have the charisma to win an election - I think he's proven this time and time again.

IF Hillary steals the nomination (Bush-esque) then I will NOT vote for the clintoncrats again. It isn't like the dem's have been doing anything good in the congress since winning, so why would they start to do so now - especially under such a corrupt leader.

Hillary = McCain with only a minor amount of self-control...

Red Mercury and the potential of a "non-nuclear" atomic weapon

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/5176382.stm
This is an article from the BBC back in 2006.

The germans during WWII were researching something using "xerum 525." This was used in the "the bell" - a device with two spinning chambers going in different directions. The material was eerily similar to Red Mercury.

What the bell was to do, no-one knows for sure, the entire project was secretive to the point where the leadership may not have known. The germans had an expert working on wonderweapons who hitler gave carte blanche to do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.

The bell has been discussed a few times over the years, but everyone that was exposed to its operations (which were done within a chamber lined with 1' lead) would eventually turn into (for lack of a better word) black goo... Animals, plants, etc. all had the same issues.
http://discaircraft.greyfalcon.us/DIE%20GLOCKE.htm

Some believe that it was to be a "nuclear" weapon which does not require the same type of A-bomb tech to create the massive blast. IE you don't need to bring U235 to critcal mass to create the explosion. Just spin some 525...

Torch Relays

http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,23533011-1702,00.html?from=public_rss

Although it was started by the Nazi's as a way to show the "prosperity" of their nation, and then to highlight key portions of their own nation on television, the torch relay really does help bring nations together.

The IOC needs to review why there are so many protests where-ever the torch has gone this year. They aren't protesting the torch or the bearer. They're protesting the host nation's actions against a smaller NATION. In some instances people were protesting the "storm troopers" which accompanied the torch from China. People didn't want to have the elite fighting force of a communist nation paraded around their streets...

Methane reserve a mere 1.2billion km away

BUT - if we really wanted to use methane which is just being wasted, we can do what many companies have started doing. Capping landfills and sewer processing facilities and capturing the released methane and then using it to generate power, etc.

That would be a much better idea. This way the methane isn't just allowed to enter our atmosphere where it does not belong. In addition, there are other heavier hydrocarbons and other gases which can also be used.

This could happen here if all trust in the dollar is lost - it too could spiral out of control... Bush, just keep doing what you've been doing...

First point is how do they have a photo of it on Mars already? In the upper right corner of the article they have a little photo of this thing on Martian terrain... Oh well...

I think that they should have come up with this for applications around the world now instead of for Mars in the future.
The hands and arm could have been used to help disabled people - maybe Iraqi injured "war-fighters" coming back without such appendages anymore.
or Why not use this to help out in hazardous situations where we shouldn't be sending people?

Does anyone else see a link to the Cylons from the original Battlestar Galactica or is just me?

Can a company own a color?

Cadbury Schwepps has been in court arguing that a competitor cannot use the color purple for their candy bar wrappers since 2005.

An Australian Federal court recently ruled that they do not own the color and that others can package their products in purple as well...

Finally, a REAL minivan?

I don't like minivans - never had, never will. But this would be the closest to being like as a minivan in my mind.

Designed by Porsche, and co-built by Porsche and VW, it will have the VW name...

Puppy?

LadyBug was a Kumpi! Kumpi - a friend upon who's life you depend. I'm really going to miss her! :( I just wish that there was something more that we could have done for her.

I hope she has enough of her Kumpi Senior food and treats where-ever she ends up... Mari and I are really going to be lonely without her in our lives!

It was only less than 2 years we shared with her, but it is difficult to think of a time without her lying next to the couch with us or putting her head in our laps to be taken out or rubbed...
To you LadyBug - we'll forever love you!
